Connect with local women in business. Bringing women across the Barrington Coast together to meet, share ideas, learn and build genuine local connections
Join a welcoming community for professional women across the
Barrington Coast
Barrington Coast Women in Business brings women from across the region together through events, workshops, coffee catchups and conversations designed to create more connection, support and professional development opportunities closer to home
Build genuine relationships and grow your network
Share ideas, support each other and create new opportunities
Access learning, education and professional development locally
A place to connect, learn and share.
We want BCWIB to be a place where you can meet great women, have useful conversations and come away with something - whether that’s a new idea, a fresh perspective or someone you’d like to stay in touch with.
That might happen around a smaller table at one of our networking nights, over lunch at a practical workshop, or through learning from women within our own community.
Our aim is to create more opportunities to connect, learn and grow, right here on the Barrington Coast.

Meet Lauren and Jodie
BCWIB began when two local women, Jodie Laraghy and Lauren Calvert, started talking over a post-tennis coffee about how difficult it could be to find professional networking events and connections close to home.
They hosted a small informal gathering to see whether other women felt the same. The response made it clear that they did.
Since then, BCWIB has grown into a community built around genuine connection, useful learning and bringing women from across the Barrington Coast together
Lauren and Jodie are deeply connected to the local community, and both are driven by a genuine desire to see women in the region feel supported, confident and empowered in their careers and businesses, whatever that may look like for them.
Stay connected to the women, ideas and opportunities around you.
